A6 Warning : Verify Your Planner Size

If you’re using an A6 planner cover, take a moment to double-check the ring spacing. Many planner covers sold online (especially on Amazon) can be misleading — they’re often listed as A6 but are actually personal size. This mix-up happens because in China, the term “A6” is commonly used for what we know as personal size, while the real A6 format is called “奇葩 A6,” which literally means “odd A6.”

Our inserts are made to the true international A6 dimensions (4.1 x 5.8 inches) — the same standard used for paper sizes like A4 and A5. They fit only genuine A6 planners with 38 mm (1.5 in) spacing between each set of three rings.

Keep in mind that A6 and personal size are not interchangeable. The personal format measures 3.75 x 6.75 and is taller and slimmer than A6.

When we say “system,” we’re talking about how your planner is put together.

Discbound System

  • Inserts are held together by discs.
  • Perfect if you like total flexibility.
  • Available only in Half Letter size at Rosie Papeterie

6-Rings System

  • Inserts are held inside a binder with rings.
  • Great if you want a traditional planner setup.
  • Our printed inserts come in A5, Personal, and A6, while our binders are currently only available in A5 and Personal
